Description:

eUMOsone Cream belongs to a group of medicines called steroids. It is used for the short-term treatment of skin inflammation and itching. It works by preventing the release of substances that cause swelling, redness, and itchiness in the skin.

eUMOsone Cream is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor. You should normally wash and dry the affected area before applying a thin layer of the medicine. Avoid any contact with your eyes, nose, or mouth. Rinse it off with plenty of water in case of accidental contact. Avoid covering the treated area with airtight dressings such as bandages unless directed by a doctor.


Using eUMOsone Cream does not cause any serious side effects. Let your doctor know if you experience any symptoms while using eUMOsone Cream. They may be able to suggest ways to treat or manage the side effects. However, if you experience any side effects that persist or worsen, let your doctor know.


Earlier using eUMOsone Cream, let your doctor know if you are using any other medicine for the same condition. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctors before using this medicine. This medicine is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.

How to use eUMOsone Cream?

Earlier using eUMOsone Cream, clean and dry the affected area. Gently and thoroughly massage it into the skin. Be careful not to get the medication in your eyes or mouth. If eUMOsone Cream gets in your eyes accidentally, wash with plenty of water and call your doctor if your eyes are irritated.

Are clobetasol and eUMOsone Cream different?

Affirmative, clobetasol and eUMOsone Cream are different steroid medications. Clobetasol is a very potent (strong) steroid, whereas eUMOsone Cream is comparatively milder and has been categorized under moderately potent steroids.

Does eUMOsone Cream affect the body’s hormonal balance?

eUMOsone Cream is a topical steroid that needs to be applied locally on the affected part. It is a moderately strong steroid. The chances of immunity suppression with eUMOsone Cream are lower than other steroids like clobetasol and betamethasone when applied to the skin. Can eUMOsone Cream be used in children?

The use of eUMOsone Cream is usually not recommended in children less than 12 years of age. It should only be used if advised by the doctor. Doctors often prescribe this medicine for the treatment of dermatoses (skin infections) in children. The duration of the treatment with eUMOsone Cream does not normally exceed 7 days. If you forget to use eUMOsone Cream, do not worry and continue using eUMOsone Cream as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.
