Description:

Eptus-T 10 Tablet is a combination of two medicines used to reduce excess fluid levels in the body. It is used to treat edema (fluid overload) and some cases of hypertension (high blood pressure).

It is best to take Eptus-T 10 Tablet in the morning along with food in order to avoid frequent urination at night time. For better results, it is suggested to take it at the same time every day. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you.

Dehydration and constipation are some common side effects of this medicine. It might lower down the level of calcium, sodium and magnesium in the blood. Hence, regular monitoring of kidney function and electrolytes is important while using this medicine.

It is generally safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Earlier taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any liver or  kidney disease. You should also let your healthcare team know all other medicines you are taking as they may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

Eptus-T 10 Tablet may cause excessive drowsiness with alcohol.
Pregnancy

Eptus-T 10 Tablet is generally considered safe to use during pregnancy. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Breast feeding

Driving
UNSAFE
Eptus-T 10 Tablet may decrease alertness, affect your vision or make you feel sleepy and dizzy. Do not drive if these symptoms occur.

Eptus-T 10 Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Eptus-T 10 Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
Employ of Eptus-T 10 Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
Liver
