Description:

Ediflam Plus Tablet is a pain-relieving medicine. It is used to reduce pain and inflammation in conditions like rheumatoid arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, and osteoarthritis. It may also be used to relieve muscle pain, back pain, toothache, or pain in the ear and throat.

Ediflam Plus Tablet may be prescribed alone or in combination with another medicine. It should be taken with food. This will prevent you from getting an upset stomach. You should take it strictly as advised by your doctor. Do not take more or use it for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor.

This medicine may cause few common side effects such as nausea, indigestion, stomach pain, restlessness, and increased heart rate. If you experienced any such side effects that do not resolve with time or get worse, you should let your doctor know. Your doctor may help with ways to reduce or prevent them.

The medicine may not be suitable for everybody. Earlier taking it, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions or disorders. Employ of Ediflam Plus Tablet is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease. Long term use of this medicine can affect the kidney function.

Liver

CAUTION

Ediflam Plus Tablet should be used with caution in patients with liver disease. Dose adjustment may be needed.

Ediflam Plus Tablet is a combination of three medicines: Ibuprofen, Paracetamol and caffeine. This medication helps to relieve pain and fever. It should also be avoided in patients with a history of heart failure, high blood pressure or any underlying liver or kidney disease.

Affirmative, Ediflam Plus Tablet can cause insomnia. Take Ediflam Plus Tablet in the morning or afternoon to avoid insomnia. Consult the doctor if you are having persistent sleeping problem or insomnia (inability to sleep) while taking this medicine.

Can the use of Ediflam Plus Tablet cause damage to kidneys?

Affirmative, the long-term use of Ediflam Plus Tablet can cause damage to the kidneys. Normal kidneys produce a chemical called prostaglandins that protects them from damage. Employ of painkillers lower the levels of prostaglandins in the body which leads to kidney damage on long-term use. Employ of painkillers is not recommended in patients with underlying kidney disease.
