FAQs:

Is DSS 10 Capsule a probiotic?

Affirmative, DSS 10 Capsule is a probiotic, the opposite of an antibiotic. Probiotics are “good bacteria” that help maintain digestive health and boost the immune system. Generally, probiotics are used in cases where the normal bacteria are killed due to some disease or medicine. For example, taking antibiotics can kill the disease-causing bacteria as well as normal bacteria present in the gastrointestinal tract. Hence, to counter such an imbalance of good bacteria, taking probiotics while you are on antibiotics can help.

Can DSS 10 Capsule cause diarrhea?

Generally, DSS 10 Capsule is considered safe when taken by mouth appropriately. However, in some people, it can cause an upset stomach, which may result in diarrhea, bloating, and flatulence (accumulation of gas).

How long should DSS 10 Capsule be taken?

Usually, full benefits with DSS 10 Capsule can be observed in one month. This is because a minimum of four weeks is required to allow the colonization of the gut by good bacteria to become stable. However, you need to keep a record of whether there is an improvement in your symptoms or not. The dose of the medicine should be taken as recommended by your doctor or the manufacturer.

Can I take antibiotic and probiotic at the same time?

Taking antibiotics along with DSS 10 Capsule might reduce the effectiveness of DSS 10 Capsule. To avoid this interaction, keep a minimum of a 2-hour gap (before or after) between the two.
