Description:

Dotarin 40mg Tablet is an antispasmodic medicine. It is used in the treatment of menstrual pain and abdominal pain. It provides relief from pain due to smooth muscle spasms like menstrual pain, pain due to kidney stones, pain due to biliary stones, and gastrointestinal colicky pain.

Dotarin 40mg Tablet can be taken with or without food, but better to take it at the same time every day for better results. The dose and how often you take it depend on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you.


The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, vomiting, and dryness in the mouth. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. It may also make you feel dizzy due to low blood pressure, if that happens take precautions while driving.
