Description:

Doran-O Tablet is a combination of medicine used in the treatment of nausea and vomiting. It also relieves symptoms such as heartburn, indigestion, stomach pain, or irritation by reducing the production of acid in the stomach.

Doran-O Tablet is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

The most common side effects are diarrhea, stomach pain, constipation, flatulence, headache, and fatigue. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any side effects. To overcome constipation, you should add fibre-rich foods in your diet and stay hydrated.

Earlier taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. You should also tell your doctor if you have liver or kidney diseases so that your doctor can prescribe a suitable dose for you.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Doran-O Tablet is to be taken empty stomach.

Side Effects:

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Driving

Doran-O Tablet may cause side effects which could affect your ability to drive.
Doran-O Tablet may cause dizziness and visual disturbances. This may affect your driving ability.

Kidney

SAFE IF PRESCRIBED

Doran-O Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment of Doran-O Tablet is recommended.

Liver

CAUTION

Doran-O Tablet should be used with caution in patients with severe liver disease. Dose adjustment of Doran-O Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.
A lower dose may be advised in patients with liver disease and who have to take this medicine for a long time.
