Description:

Dexarab-L Capsule SR is a prescription medicine used mainly in the treatment of stomach ulcers. It works by increasing some chemical messengers that prevent acid reflux. It also reduces the amount of acid in the stomach which helps to provide relief in acid-related indigestion.

Dexarab-L Capsule SR should be taken with or without food. However, it is advised to take it at the same time each day as this helps to maintain a consistent level of medicine in the body. Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by your doctor. If you miss a dose of this medicine, take it as soon as you remember. Avoid the use of alcohol as it may decrease the effect.

Some common side effects of this medicine include nausea, stomach pain, constipation, and headache. It also causes dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. This medicine may cause diarrhea, so it is better to take plenty of fluids while taking this medicine as it may help to prevent dehydration. If you get watery diarrhea with fever or stomach pain that persists, then it is better to consult the doctor. Let your doctor know if you do not get better even after 14 days of the treatment or experience some other problem.

Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dexarab-L Capsule SR may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
