Deplatt-CV  capsule is a combination medicine used to reduce the risk of heart disorders like heart attack and chest pain. It contains three active ingredients-atorvastatin, clopidogrel and acetylsalicylic acid as an active ingredient. This combination is used to prevent heart disorders like heart attack and chest pain. Abnormal blood clot formation and high cholesterol are some of the important factors that contribute to heart disorders. This medicine thereby acts by reducing abnormal blood clots and also cholesterol levels. It is not recommended for use in pregnant women and lactating mothers. It should be used with caution in elderly patients. Take this medicine as advised by your doctor. Maintain a healthy lifestyle along with this medicine. You should have low-fat, less oily and avoid junk, packaged and carbonated food and drinks. You should also avoid drinking and smoking along with this medicine.

Deplatt-CV Capsule is a combination medicine that is used to prevent heart attack. It contains Atorvastatin that works by reducing the amount of “bad” cholesterol (LDL) and raising the amount of “good” cholesterol (HDL) in your blood. High levels of cholesterol can cause your blood vessels to narrow (atherosclerosis). Lowering the amount of cholesterol reduces the chances of heart diseases and helps you remain healthier for longer.

Directions For Use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Deplatt-CV Capsule is to be taken with food.

Deplatt-CV Capsule is a combination of three medicines: Aspirin / Acetylsalicylic acid, Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel. Aspirin and Clopidogrel are antiplatelet medicines. They work by preventing the platelets from sticking together and decrease the formation of harmful blood clots. On the other hand, Atorvastatin is a lipid-lowering medicine that blocks an enzyme which makes cholesterol in the body. It lowers the "bad" cholesterol (LDL), triglycerides and raises the "good" cholesterol (HDL).

Q. Can the use of Deplatt-CV Capsule cause dizziness?
Yes, the use of Deplatt-CV Capsule can cause dizziness (feeling faint, weak, unsteady or lightheaded) in some patients. If you feel dizzy or lightheaded, it is better to rest for some time and resume once you feel better.

Q. Can the use of Deplatt-CV Capsule cause nausea and vomiting?
Yes, the use of Deplatt-CV Capsule can cause nausea and vomiting. Taking it with milk, food or with antacids can prevent nausea. Avoid taking fatty or fried foods along with this medication. In case of vomiting, drink plenty of water or other fluids by taking small frequent sips. Talk to your doctor if vomiting persists and you notice signs of dehydration like dark colored and strong-smelling urine and a low frequency of urination. Do not take any other medicine without speaking to a doctor.
