Description:

Dacihep 60mg Tablet is an antiviral medication. It is used along with other medications for the treatment of chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection.

Dacihep 60mg Tablet should be taken in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. It should be taken with or without food, preferably at a fixed time. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible. However, if it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular schedule. Do not double the dose.

It has fewer side effects as compared to other similar medicines, like fatigue, headache, nausea, insomnia (difficulty sleeping), and anemia (low red blood cell count). Inform your doctor if these side effects persist for a longer duration. Please consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding.

Uses:

  • Chronic hepatitis C virus (HCV) infection

Directions For Use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Dacihep 60mg Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Side Effects:

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

  • Chubbyigue
  • Headache
  • Nausea
  • Insomnia (difficulty in sleeping)
  • Anemia (low number of red blood cells)

Pregnancy

Breast feeding

Dacihep 60mg Tablet may be safe to use during breastfeeding. Animal studies have shown low or no adverse effects to the developing baby; however, there are limited human studies.
Driving
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
It is not known whether Dacihep 60mg Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react. Please consult your doctor.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Dacihep 60mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with kidney disease. No dose adjustment is recommended.
Liver
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Dacihep 60mg Tablet is safe to use in patients with liver disease. No dose adjustment is recommended.
