Description:

Cytoniche 450 Tablet is used to treat cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection of the retina (retinitis) in adult patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). It is also used for the prevention of CMV infection in patients who have received an organ transplant from a CMV-infected donor.

Cytoniche 450 Tablet should be taken in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Do not skip any doses and finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It should be taken with food. You should drink plenty of water while on treatment with this medicine, as it helps prevent dehydration and kidney damage.


Cytoniche 450 Tablet may cause a few common side effects like diarrhea, vomiting, anemia, low white blood cells, low platelet levels, insomnia, and vomiting. Inform your doctor if these side effects persist for a longer duration.


Earlier you start Cytoniche 450 Tablet, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions. Let your doctor also know about all the medications you are taking, as some medicines may interact with Cytoniche 450 Tablet. Please consult your doctor if you are pregnant, planning to conceive, or breastfeeding.

Directions For Use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cytoniche 450 Tablet should be taken with or after food.

Side Effects:

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them
