Description:

Cospiaq M 12.5 + 1000 Tablet ER is a combination medicine that helps control blood sugar levels. This medicine is used together with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus. It helps in proper utilisation of insulin, thereby lowering the blood sugar level.

Cospiaq M 12.5 + 1000 Tablet ER should be taken with food at any time of day but you should try to take it at the same time every day. The dose will be decided by your doctor. Don’t stop taking it without asking your doctor. If you do, your blood sugar levels may increase and put you at risk of serious complications like kidney damage and blindness. This medicine is only part of a treatment program that should include a healthy diet, regular exercise, and weight reduction as advised by your doctor.

The most common side effects of this medicine include taste changes, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, joint pain, urinary tract infection, and yeast infections. Drinking plenty of fluids while using it will help prevent dehydration. Some people may develop fungal infections in the genital area. Keeping good hygiene can help prevent this.
