Description:

Cosklot HMB Tablet is a combination medicine used in the treatment of bleeding. It helps to reduce bleeding during periods, or after surgery and controls excessive bleeding.

You can take Cosklot HMB Tablet at any time of day, with food, but it is best to take it at the same time each day. It should be taken on first day of the periods to get the most benefit. Retain taking it for as long as advised by your doctor.  Take this medicine in the dose and duration advised by the doctor and if you have missed a dose, take it as soon as you remember. Remember to finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. Inform your doctor if you do not observe any change in periods even after 3 consecutive periods.

The most common side effects of this medicine include stomach pain, headache, nasal congestion, sinus pain, sinus inflammation, rash, tiredness and musculoskeletal (bone, muscle or joint) pain. It is advised to consult with your doctor if you do not notice any changes in periods after 3 consecutive periods.

Earlier taking it, let your doctor know if you have any kidney problems or vaginal bleeding disorder. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor for advice before taking this medicine. You also need to tell your doctor what other medicines you are taking. You might be asked for eye check-up while taking this medicine. It is advised to avoid alcohol while taking this medicine.

Directions For Use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Cosklot HMB Tablet is to be taken with food.

Side Effects:

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Driving
CONSULT YOUR DOCTOR
It is not known whether Cosklot HMB Tablet alters the ability to drive. Do not drive if you experience any symptoms that affect your ability to concentrate and react.
Kidney
SAFE IF PRESCRIBED
Cosklot HMB Tablet is probably safe to use in patients with kidney disease. Limited data available suggests that dose adjustment of Cosklot HMB Tablet may not be needed in these patients. Please consult your doctor.
