What is Combihale-G Capsule used for?

Combihale-G Capsule is used to help people with long‑term lung diseases such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), chronic bronchitis, or emphysema breathe more easily. It helps reduce flare‑ups and keeps the airways open for smoother breathing over time.

Can I use Combihale-G Capsule for sudden shortness of breath?

No. Combihale-G Capsule is not a rescue inhaler. It does not work quickly enough to relieve sudden attacks of breathlessness. You should always keep a fast‑acting rescue inhaler handy for sudden breathing problems.

Who should not use Combihale-G Capsule?

Individuals should not use Combihale-G Capsule if they are allergic to any of its ingredients (budesonide, glycopyrrolate, or formoterol). It is also not suitable for children under 18 years. People with severe kidney or liver problems should consult their doctor before using it.

What should I tell my doctor before starting Combihale-G Capsule?

What are the serious side effects of Combihale-G Capsule?

Earnest side effects of Combihale-G Capsule may include chest pain, irregular heartbeat, vision changes, worsening breathing, allergic reactions such as swelling or rash, or symptoms of infection like fever or chills. Perceivek immediate medical attention if you experience any of these symptoms.

Does Combihale-G Capsule weaken the immune system?

Combihale-G Capsule contains budesonide, a type of corticosteroid, which may slightly lower your body’s ability to fight infections. Wash your mouth after each use and contact your doctor if you develop thrush (white patches in your mouth) or a persistent cough.

Can using Combihale-G Capsule affect my eyes or bones?

Long‑term use of Combihale-G Capsule may increase the risk of eye problems such as glaucoma or cataracts and may slightly weaken bones. Regular check‑ups can help detect these issues early.

Can I stop using Combihale-G Capsule once I feel better?

No. You should continue using Combihale-G Capsule every day as prescribed, even when you feel well. Stopping it suddenly can cause your COPD symptoms to return or worsen.

What should I avoid while using Combihale-G Capsule?

While using Combihale-G Capsule, avoid exposure to people with contagious infections such as chickenpox or measles, as the steroid part of this medicine can reduce your resistance to infections.
