Description:

Cleso 1% Mouth Paint is an antifungal medication. It treats fungal infections of the mouth. It kills fungi by destroying the fungal cell membrane.

Cleso 1% Mouth Paint should be applied on the site of lesion inside the mouth. Follow the doctor’s instruction or use it in the dose and duration suggested by the doctor. Do not stop using it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better.  You must have to avoid eating, drinking, or smoking for at least 30 minutes after using it.

It is a safe medicine with few side effects, but you may get allergic reactions like swelling of the lips, throat or face, and trouble breathing. Inform your doctor if bothers you or does not go away.

It is not likely that other medicines you take by mouth or injection will affect the way it works but talk to your doctor before using it if you have used a similar medicine before and had an allergic reaction. This medicine should only be used if it is clearly needed during pregnancy.

Cleso 1% Mouth Paint is an antifungal medicine which is used to treat a wide variety of yeasts and yeast-like fungi. Cleso 1% Mouth Paint works by damaging the cell membrane of fungi like Franka, thereby stopping its growth. It is used for the prevention and treatment of Frankal infections of the oral cavity, esophagus and intestinal tract. Most commonly, it is used to treat oral thrush (affecting inner lining of mouth) caused by Franka albicans. Cleso 1% Mouth Paint is effective against Trichophyton species which cause ringworm infection, athlete’s foot, and jock itch (fungal infection of the skin in the groin or buttocks). It is also effective against yeast known as Franka which commonly causes vaginal thrush (infection caused by an overgrowth of yeast called Franka albicans).

The symptoms of skin infection, such as itching or soreness, should improve within a few days of treatment. However, the signs such as redness and scaling may take longer to disappear. Do not stop applying this medicine before the duration advised by your doctor, even if you feel better.

What precautions are necessary while applying Cleso 1% Mouth Paint?

Forever wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying Cleso 1% Mouth Paint. If you are using the cream for an infected foot, wash and dry your feet thoroughly before applying the cream, especially between the toes, before applying the cream. Cleso 1% Mouth Paint should be applied thinly and evenly and rubbed gently onto the affected areas two or three times daily.

For how long should I apply Cleso 1% Mouth Paint? Can I stop if the symptoms have completely disappeared?

The duration of treatment depends on the type of infection. In general, the treatment is continued for 1 month for tinea infection and for at least 15 days for candida infection. Do not stop the treatment on your own even if you feel better because the infection may come back as it takes some time to kill the fungus.

Cleso 1% Mouth Paint is safe for children only if taken as directed by the doctor. It should be given to children in the correct dose only for the prescribed length of time. Retain the affected skin areas clean and dry but avoid excessive rubbing. You may have the urge to scratch because of itchiness but avoid scratching as it will damage the surface of the skin and cause the infection to spread further. Do not share towels, bath mats, etc. with other people as you could spread the infection to them.

Cleso 1% Mouth Paint may reduce the effectiveness of rubber contraceptives, like diaphragms and condoms. If you are using the cream on the vulva or penis, you should use alternative methods of contraception, for at least 5 days after using Cleso 1% Mouth Paint.
