Cephaxain 125mg Tablet DT is an antibiotic medicine that is given to children for the treatment of a wide range of bacterial infections associated with the ear, nose, throat, tonsils, lungs, and skin. It may also be prescribed as a second line of treatment for urinary tract infections.

Cephaxain 125mg Tablet DT may be given with or without food. However, if your child develops a stomach upset, prefer giving it with food. If your child vomits within 30 minutes of taking this medicine, give the same dose again. Avoid giving a double dose if it is almost time for the next dose.

Cephaxain 125mg Tablet DT may cause some minor and temporary side effects such as vomiting, diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, and mild skin rash. These side effects usually go away once your child’s body adapts to the medicine. However, if they persist or become bothersome for your child, report to the doctor immediately.
