Buscopan 10mg Suppository is used to treat pain due to smooth muscle spasm. It stops sudden muscle contractions (spasms), thereby relieving cramps, pain, and discomfort.
Buscopan 10mg Suppository is for administration into the back passage (rectum) and must not be taken by mouth. It is either given under the supervision of healthcare professionals or you can use it after proper guidance of a doctor. You should remove the wrapper from the medicine before inserting it and keep lying down for some time after its insertion. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your doctor know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.
Pregnant women should also consult their doctor before taking this medicine. Buscopan 10mg Suppository should be used with caution in patients with liver and kidney disease or alcohol abuse.
Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if youβre worried about them
