Description:

Bisojoy-AM 2.5/5 Tablet is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure). It helps lower blood pressure by relaxing the blood vessels and reducing the heart rate. This way it helps prevent complications such as heart attack and stroke.

Bisojoy-AM 2.5/5 Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take it at the same time each day and take it regularly. Retain taking it for as long as advised by your doctor. Even if you feel well, do not stop this medicine on your own because high blood pressure often has no symptoms. If you stop taking it, your condition may get worse. Retaining active with regular exercise, reducing your weight and eating a healthy diet will also help control your blood pressure. Follow your doctor’s advice while taking this medicine.


Ordinary side effects of this medicine include edema, somnolence, dizziness, headache, visual disturbances, palpitation, and breathlessness. It may also cause flushing, abdominal pain, nausea, indigestion, and weakness amongst others. If it causes dizziness, do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. To reduce the swelling (edema), raise your legs while sitting down. You may be asked for regular monitoring of blood pressure, kidney function, blood sugar level, and electrolytes level while on the treatment.


Earlier taking it, let your doctor know if you have any liver or kidney problems. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should also consult their doctor for advice before taking this medicine. You also need to tell your doctor what other medicines you are taking, especially those used to treat high blood pressure or heart conditions.

Directions For Use:

Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Bisojoy-AM 2.5/5 Tablet may be taken with or without food.

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine. Consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them

Pregnancy
