Betadine AD Shampoo is for external use only. You should use it in the dose and duration as directed by your doctor. Apply sufficient amount onto the scalp and massage it well. Consent it to remain on the scalp for about 5 minutes before washing it off. Employ it regularly to get the maximum benefit from the medicine.
Employ of this medicine may cause burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the site of application. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects. You should stop using it if you have any signs of an allergic reaction. Signs of this include rash, hives, itching, shortness of breath, cough, swelling of face, lips, tongue, or throat.
This medicine should not be used in children under two years of age. Earlier taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding.
