Description:
Benz 100mg Capsule is an antitussive medicine. It is used for the treatment of dry cough. It works by suppressing the activity of the cough centre in the brain. It provides you relief from symptoms like watery eyes, sneezing, and runny nose.Benz 100mg Capsule can be taken with or without food, but take it at the same time to get the most benefit. It should be taken as your doctor's advice. The dose and how often you take it depends on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you. You must inform your doctor if symptoms do not get improved within 7 days of the treatment.
The most common side effects of this medicine include vomiting, nausea, constipation, dizziness, shortness of breath or worsening preexisting breath problem, and rash. If these bother you or appear serious, let your doctor know. There may be ways of reducing or preventing them. Generally, it is advised to drink plenty of fluids while on treatment with this medicine. To overcome dizziness, avoid driving or attention-seeking activities.
Earlier taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you are pregnant, or breastfeeding. Your doctor should also know about all other medicines you are taking as many of these may make this medicine less effective or change the way it works.
