Description:

AZEflo Nasal Spray is a combination medicine used in the treatment of allergy symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes and congestion or stuffiness.

AZEflo Nasal Spray should be used as you have been advised by your doctor. Do not use it more often or for longer than recommended. Normally you should blow your nose gently before using it. Retain one nostril closed while instilling the medicine into the other, and then sniff hard to make sure it reaches deep into the nose. Then repeat for the other nostril. It provides relief very quickly and can last for several hours.

The most common side effects are taste change, nosebleeds, and headaches. Most of these are temporary and usually resolve with time. Contact your doctor straight away if you are at all concerned about any of these side effects.

Never support self-medication or recommend your medicine to another person. It is beneficial to have plenty of fluids while taking this medication. Earlier you start taking this medicine it is important to inform your doctor if you are suffering from liver or kidney disease. FAQs:

What is AZEflo Nasal Spray used for?

AZEflo Nasal Spray is used to relieve symptoms of seasonal allergic rhinitis (allergies), such as a stuffy or runny nose, sneezing, and nasal itching in adults and children 6 years and older.

What serious warnings should be known before starting AZEflo Nasal Spray?

AZEflo Nasal Spray can cause sleepiness, nosebleeds, nasal sores or ulcers, delayed wound healing in the nose, and rarely a hole in the nasal septum. Eye issues like glaucoma or cataracts can also occur, so report any vision changes promptly.

Is drowsiness or impaired alertness a concern after using AZEflo Nasal Spray?

AZEflo Nasal Spray can cause sleepiness after using it. Avoid tasks requiring full alertness (like operating machinery) and avoid alcohol or other sedating medicines that can worsen drowsiness. If your sleepiness or drowsiness is severe, talk to your doctor.

What nasal problems should prompt stopping AZEflo Nasal Spray and calling a doctor?

Stop AZEflo Nasal Spray and get medical advice for persistent or heavy nosebleeds, crusting, sores, severe irritation, a whistling sound when breathing (possible septal perforation), or signs of thrush (white patches) in the nose or throat.

What eye-related symptoms require attention?

You should report blurred vision, eye pain, halos, or other vision changes during AZEflo Nasal Spray treatment. This risk is higher, especially if there is a history of glaucoma or cataracts, because nasal and inhaled steroids have been linked to these eye problems.

What should be told to a doctor before starting AZEflo Nasal Spray?

Earlier starting AZEflo Nasal Spray, inform your doctor if you have recently had nasal surgery, a nasal injury, or nasal ulcers. Also mention if you have eye problems such as glaucoma or cataracts, tuberculosis, or any ongoing infections (fungal, bacterial, viral, or parasitic), including ocular herpes, as the steroid present in AZEflo Nasal Spray may worsen these conditions.

Any practical AZEflo Nasal Spray use tips that improve safety?

Employ AZEflo Nasal Spray only in the nose, keep the spray away from the nasal septum, and have an adult help young children. Earlier first use, prepare the spray by pressing it a few times until a fine mist appears, and do the same again if it has not been used for 14 days or more. Immaculate the spray tip weekly to prevent blockage and contamination.
