Description:

Atro Eye Drop is used to treat myopia and inflammation in the eyes (uveitis or iritis). It is also used to induce cycloplegia for eye examination and to diagnose eye problems like blurred vision or squinting.

Atro Eye Drop is for external use only. Employ it in the dose and duration as directed by your doctor. Read the instructions carefully before using the medicine. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after using Atro Eye Drop. Doing so will help avoid the risk of any infection. Do not rub the eyes after instilling the medicine, as it can lead to redness or irritation. Continue the medicine until the prescribed course is complete.


This medicine may have some minor and temporary side effects such as blurry vision, photophobia, decreased tear production, and high blood pressure. These side effects should start receding after a few doses. However, if these side effects persist or become bothersome, report them to the doctor immediately.


Earlier you use this medicine, let your doctor know if you have a history of allergic reactions to any of the components of this product. Let your doctor also know about any medical conditions such as heart problems, blood disorders, airway obstruction, lung anomalies, gastrointestinal problems, skin disorders, liver impairment, or kidney malfunction. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using this medicine.

Directions For Use:

This medicine is for external use only. Employ it in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Check the label for directions before use. Hold the dropper close to the eye without touching it. Gently squeeze the dropper and place the medicine inside the lower eyelid. Wipe off the extra liquid.

Atro Eye Drop should not be used if you have or suspect you have glaucoma (high pressure in the eye) since it can increase the pressure in the eye, or if you are having any eye infection.

Does Atro Eye Drop cause blurred vision?

When you instill the eye drops for the first time, it can make your eyes watery and may sometimes cause blurred vision. If this happens, it will quickly clear. Make sure you can see again before you drive, or use tools or machines.

Forever consult your doctor before using any other eye drops along with Atro Eye Drop. It is advisable to give a gap of at least 10-15 minutes between the two medications.
