Description:
AMF 40MG/5MG TABLET is a combination of two medicines used to reduce excess fluid levels in the body. It is used to treat edema (fluid overload). It helps in the elimination of excess water and salt through urine, reduces swelling, and improves symptoms related to edema.AMF 40MG/5MG TABLET is best taken on an empty stomach, as it can interact with food. For better results, it is suggested to take it at the same time every day. The dose and how often you take it depend on what you are taking it for. Your doctor will decide how much you need to improve your symptoms. You should take this medicine for as long as it is prescribed for you.
Ordinary side effects of AMF 40MG/5MG TABLET include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, dizziness, and muscle cramps. It may also lower the level of calcium, sodium, and magnesium in the blood in some people. Hence, regular monitoring of kidney function and electrolytes is important while using this medicine.
Earlier taking this medicine, tell your doctor if you have any liver or kidney disease.
