Description:
Alevo 12.5mg Injection is a medicine used in the treatment of gastrointestinal problems like functional dyspepsia, nausea, vomiting, and diabetic gastroparesis. It improves food movement and treats disorders of the stomach and intestines.Alevo 12.5mg Injection is given as an injection by a doctor or a nurse. It is usually recommended when the patient exhibits severe nausea and vomiting and oral administration is not feasible. It is generally given 2-3 times a day or as recommended by the doctor. Get the injection as many times as the doctor has prescribed and do not stop it suddenly. Once the symptoms subside, you can switch to oral therapy.
Some common side effects of this medicine include menstrual disorders, breast enlargement in males, increased prolactin level in the blood, and increased libido. It may also cause drowsiness in some people, so do not drive or do anything that requires mental focus until you know how this medicine affects you. Consult your doctor immediately if there are missed periods, abnormal milk secretion, or changes in sexual desire. They may be able to suggest ways to prevent or reduce the side effects.
Earlier taking this medicine, let your doctor know if you have any medical conditions such as heart disease, history of epilepsy, or gastrointestinal hemorrhage.
