Description:

Akynzeo 300mg/0.5mg Capsule is a prescription medicine that is used to treat nausea and vomiting due to chemotherapy. It works by blocking the release of chemicals such as serotonin and substance P which are responsible for causing nausea and vomiting.

Akynzeo 300mg/0.5mg Capsule may be taken with or without food. It should be used in the dose and duration as prescribed by your doctor. It is advised to take this medicine at a fixed time.

This medicine should not be taken more than the recommended dose. If you miss any dose, please consult your doctor. It is advised to complete the treatment without any interruption. If you experience any allergic reactions such as skin rash, swelling, and itching, stop the medicine and please consult your doctor.

This medicine is usually well tolerated by patients. The common side effects of this medicine include fatigue, erythema, weakness, headache, constipation, and indigestion. If any of these side effects worsen with time, please consult your doctor.

Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. This medicine is not safe to use in patients of liver and kidney diseases. Inform your doctor if you are suffering from any disease or are taking any medicines.
