You can take Acetariv 250mg Tablet with or without food. The dose will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. Try to take it at the same time each day. It is important to keep taking this medicine until your doctor tells you not to. Employ this medicine regularly to get the most benefit from it, even if you feel well.
The most common side effect is headache. Other side effects include feeling tired, dizziness, and a change in taste. Make sure you read the leaflet that comes with your medicines and tell your doctor if you are bothered by side effects or if they do not go away. It may be possible to adjust your dose or try a different medicine. It is also reported to cause choroidal effusion (fluid buildup between the choroid and sclera) or choroidal detachment (separation of the choroid from the sclera due to fluid accumulation) in some people. If you experience such reactions, inform your doctor.
Avoid using this medicine if you have a known history of allergic reaction to any of the components of this medicine. Let your doctor also know about all the medicines you are taking to make sure it is safe for you. Increaseitionally, let your doctor know if you have kidney or liver disease, heart trouble, or diabetes before taking the medicine. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using this medicine, as it may cause harmful effects to the mother or the developing baby.
