Description:

Telma-AM H 80 Tablet is a combination of medicines used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) when a single medication is not effective. It helps to lower high blood pressure thus reduces chances of future heart attack and stroke.

Telma AMH 80 tablet is an antihypertensive medication. It is used to reduce high blood pressure in adults. It contains a combination of three medicines - amlodipine, telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide as active substances. Take this medicine in the exact dose and duration recommended by your doctor. Do not take more than the prescribed dose. Do not stop taking this medicine on your own. If pregnancy is detected during treatment with Telma AMH 80 tablet, discontinue use as soon as possible and inform your doctor. Before starting this medicine, inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding and about your complete medical history. While taking Telma AMH 80, it is recommended to make certain lifestyle modifications like exercising regularly, reducing salt intake and avoiding smoking and alcohol for better control of your blood pressure. Telma AMH 80 tablet is not recommended for patients below the age of 18 years

USES OF TELMA-AM H TABLET

  • Hypertension (high blood pressure)

Telma-AM H 80 Tablet relaxes the blood vessels so that blood can flow more easily around your body.

Directions For Use:

  • Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor.
  • Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.
  • Telma-AM H 80 Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.

Side Effects:

The most common side effects of this medicine include ankle swelling, headache, dizziness, tiredness, and taste change. Consult your doctor If any of these bother you, or get worse, or won't go away. Drink plenty of fluids while taking medicine to overcome muscle weakness, dry mouth, and extreme thirst.

Warning & Precautions:

Telma-AM H 80 Tablet may cause dehydration. Drink plenty of fluids and inform your doctor if you develop extreme thirst, muscle weakness or very dry mouth.
