Sorbitrate 5 Tablet is used to prevent chest pain (angina attacks). It works by relaxing and widening blood vessels so blood can flow more easily to the heart. These tablets will not treat an angina attack that has already begun.

Sorbitrate 5 Tablet must be taken in the dose and duration as advised by the doctor. Place the tablet under the tongue or between the cheek and gum, and let it dissolve. It is usually taken as needed, either 5 to 10 minutes before physical activities or at the first sign of angina.
