Description:

Similac Stage 2 is a spray-dried stage 2 follow-up formula designed for infants from 6 months onward as part of a healthy diet during and after weaning. Similac contains a fat blend that supports easy digestion and promotes calcium absorption. It contains essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals (such as calcium and iron) that are known to support the baby's healthy growth.

Uses:

  • The formula contains a fat blend known to support easy digestion and promote calcium absorption
  • It is enriched with neuro-nutrients such as omega 3 and 6 fatty acids (precursors of DHA and AA), choline, iron, and zinc which can support the baby's brain development
  • It is also rich in antioxidants like vitamins A, C, and E and zinc to support the developing immune system
  • The powder is made with essential fatty acids, vitamins, and minerals (calcium and vitamin D) known to support the baby's bone development and healthy growth

Directions For Use:

  • Thoroughly wash the feeding bottle or bowl, nipple, cap, and utensils to be used in preparing the feeding
  • After rinsing soap from the utensils, boil them for 5 minutes
  • In a separate pan, heat water to a rolling boil for 5 minutes and allow it to cool to lukewarm
  • Pour the correct amount of lukewarm, previously boiled water into the sterilised feeding bottle or bowl
  • Fill the enclosed scoop, then scrape level with the straight edge of the knife
  • Add one level enclosed scoop (approx. 5.1 gm) of the powder to each 30 ml of water in the bottle or bowl
  • Mix until completely dissolved
  • Test the temperature and feed. After feeding, discard any unused formula within 1 hour

  • Keep out of reach of children
  • Infant food should be used only on the advice of a healthcare worker as to the need for its use and the proper method of its use
  • Infant food is not the sole source of nourishment for an infant
  • Use prepared feed within half an hour; otherwise, microbial deterioration may set in. Discard unused feed
  • Careful and hygienic preparation of infant food is essential for health
  • Do not use fewer scoops than directed since diluted feeding will not provide adequate nutrients needed by the infant
  • Do not use more scoops than directed since concentrated feed will not provide the water needed by the infant
