Mometasone is a type of medicine known as a Steroid (also called a corticosteroid). Momate Cream is a steroid that is used to treat certain skin conditions such as eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and rash. It helps reduce symptoms like swelling, itching, and redness caused by certain skin problems called dermatitis or psoriasis. Dermatitis is a common skin condition associated with dry, itchy, or swollen skin. Psoriasis is a condition in which skin cells multiply faster than normal, resulting in white scales and itchy, dry patches.

Momate Cream 15 gm contains Mometasone, a potent corticosteroid that works by acting inside skin cells and inhibiting the release of certain inflammatory substances in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. When the skin reacts to any allergens, such substances are released normally.
You should always use Momate Cream exactly as your doctor has told you. Do not use the cream or ointment for more than the recommended duration. Spread it as a thin layer onto the skin. Do not cover the area being treated with a bandage or plaster unless your doctor tells you to. You should use this medicine regularly but do not apply large amounts or use it for longer than prescribed. Tell your doctor if your condition does not improve after 2 weeks of treatment.

1. Redness and itching caused by skin problems like Psoriasis (a skin disease in which scaly, pink patches develop on the knees, elbows, scalp and other parts of the body) or,
2. Dermatitis (skin reaction in which skin becomes red and itchy).
